Every night I get hundreds of little Mysis like shrimps then tonight I saw them coming out of my hermit crabs..

Anyone else witness something like that?

ill post a video when I get a chance but it was amazing to me. Plus my fish go crazy every time it happens, even my green Mandarin even stays up for the event.

I thought it was my clown fishes at first then I siphoned a few out about a week ago and they looks like little shrimps so I thought they were some eggs from the frozen Mysis that hatched. Tonight I saw the shrimps gathering from one of the larger Halloween Hermit Crab (Ciliopagurus strigatus) and I pointed a flash light on it and saw hundreds if not thousands come streaming out of the shell, the crab had one of its hind legs raised releasing them. My entire tank was saturated within 30 minutes...then the feeding frenzy started.

Here is the Video: http://youtu.be/LciY7xdmKdA sorry for the quality, it came from my phone.

Two nights ago I saw the same thing in my tank. About an hour after the lights were out I was passing by the tank and noticed them. They were tiny and I only noticed them because there were so many of them right underneath where my moon lights are. No clue what they are but they where all gone the next morning. Guess the fish had a late night snack. Looked just like the ones in you're video.

Rookie - kind of, but all clear/white Mysis shrimp like, definitely had a tail and swam like a shrimp.

Either way was definitely an interesting event.

Mark let me know if you see them again, I also noticing them by accident a couple of weeks ago . At first, I saw a small batch and every couple of nights I would notice a batch. Last week I turned off the moon lights and they really started swarming maybe I was catching them before my fish was since I began actively looking for them and yes they are all gone by the morning each time.

I definitely don't mind treating my corals and fish to the free food.
