was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these? Im thinking about buying a used 120 gallon tank but it isn't reef ready but getting it at an amazing price. Just hesitant bc Im not familiar with these devices...pros cons? I've read a few things online about them so just wanted an opinion.

I recommend the Eshopps, I'm running one on my 90G for 2 years now
never fail, overflow resumes after power failure, works just like a drilled tank.

other question I have is how do you do a return pipe? Ive always had a tank with a reef ready over flow kit. This is my first time without one for saltwater.

you mean how do you return the water with a return pump ?

1) return pump
2) flexible hose or PVC
3) return U tube
yeah that's what I meant. I have a return pump on my current 57 gallon. I have a mag 9 which I know its over rated for that tank. I want to use it on my next build. Do you happen to have a picture of it so I can have a visual in my head on how to do this. Thanks.
