should i be worried?

i was doing all my general test with api kit ..

i had them all on my table with a container of tank water.. and as i mixed them and tested i dumped them all in a cup. when i went to the bathroom to rid of them i noticed a really foul smell , and the fumes were bad almost to where i got light headed. i opened all the windows and turned on a fan. should i be concerned ? i know this is kind of a stupid thing to do but should i be worried?

Difficult to say whether becoming light headed was anxiety or a direct result of the fumes. Maybe a little of both. I wouldn't worry about it.

If we knew what the reagents were in the test kits, it might be possible to determine the nature of fumes you smelled. i will look around for information but I do not expect to find much. Send a PM to "Boomer"

Never noticed even a slight smell from any test kit

I also use one cup to empty my test water in and never noticed any smell. I did however walk into bathrooms in the past that made me light headed and almost pass out from a foul smell but it wasn't from test kits :dead1:
