Vodka dosing?

I'm thinking of trying this method to help me with nitrates/phosphates. Does it work, anybody here doing it? Any advice would be appreciated...

I did it. helps with nitrates, not so much with phosphates.

I do bacteria , vodka and vinegar dosing along w gfo.. It's what my tank needs
