Add extra cord to ati fixture

Is there any way I can add another cord to a 6bulb ati fixture I want to control 2 lights on each cord . where the four light come on make two?

You will need to add another ballast if you want to do 3 sets of 2 lights. Some rewiring, Drilling a whole and installing something like a UF connector next to the other plug or somewhere of your liking.

Will the extra ballast fit inside the fixture?

Im not 100% sure i would think so but open it up find the ballasts and eye it up. You will see if could fit.
