Correct amount of feeding for fish

I have 2 tanks a 34 gallon Rwd sea max 5 fish , and 6 gallon 3 fish . 34 has a pair of snowflakes , clown goby , neon goby and six line wrasse . All eat everything . I feed two time a day , cleaning crew cleans up the rest , should I just feed once a day ? Same with the 6 gallon , pair or clowns , and a yellow coris wrasse . Feed both tanks same time but a lot less food for the 6 gallon .

Current wisdom is that fish eat a little all day and we should try to mimic that. I practice this, adding food for a minute or two just enough for them to completely consume. If you were raising fish in a fish farm, you'd be feeding your fish a fraction of their body weight. I forget what this number is. It could be something like 10-20% of their body weight in food per day. You can Google the number. Also you would have to Google the way to estimate fish weight from their length bcause I presume you are not going to catch your fish and weigh them.
