New Rodi filters and cannot get TDS to zero

Any ideas? I just installed new sediment filter new carbon filters new chlorine filter and ran RODI unit for 4 hours yesterday and 6 hours today and can only get the TDS METER to 3ppm. Any help would be appreciated thanks!!!!:usa1:

How old is the membrane? Di resin?

What is your TDS from the tap? I know NJ could be pretty high. Your membrane might be worn out.

Everything is new and the TDS from the tap is 170

you didnt mention if you had a di resin stage. di will get you to 0 TDS.

170 is high. My tap is like 45. Maybe you need 2 resin chambers. Also calibrate the meter lately?

Weird because my TDS always read zero until I changed my filters. My sediment filter was getting brown so I decided to change them all.

Sorry to hear this my TDS out of the tap is ~27 in Brooklyn. I am surprised you run over 0 TDS. I thought you would reach 0 but burn through resin faster.... Tagging along.

DI will give you zero readings. If higher most likely need replace resin in DI. My RO filters before DI reading is a 0.01 after DI Is 0. Before Any filters its 0.38. One time I replaced everything and TDS was still reading .04 and driving me nuts. It was bad Resin in the the New DI.
