Kalk + 2

I've been using Brightwell Aquatic's Kalk + 2 for a while now in my ATO. I am getting low and was just wondering if it is worth the extra money or should I just go with the regular Kalk. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Storm, thanks. I was really just trying to find out what people thought about the Kalk + 2 product versus just plain old kalkwasser. I appreciate the offer but my ATO itself is working ok. unless you have some kalk your trying to get rid of.

Doesn't Kalk+2 also contain strontium and magnesium. If you dose just kalk youll just get that, but your calcium and magnesium levels might fluxuate?

Yes it does have both strontium and magnesium in it as well. From what I've read about it, people are skeptical about how much magnesium actually goes into solution when it dissolves. I would have to dose that separately. I notice that I get a lot of sediment in the bottom of my top off container and it never really mixes clear. I use 1tsp per gallon in my top off.

Its kinda like kalk, hey both need to be stired occasionaly
