some kind of monti? I picked it up - was pretty browned out, it is starting to color up and the polyps are bright yellow

Maybe a pagoda cup I think I have the same coral. Brownish with bright polyps?

Mike ... I think it's still small to tell, but it looks like it's starting to branch. It will have to grow out some to see the formation, whether it will continue to branch like a digi, plate like a cap or encrust... so between the coloration and growth formation you'll get a better idea of what it is.....part of the enjoyment of SPS
