I would check your water. I have kept candy cane in high and low light. You really should be tested your water once a week in new tanks

Sorry didn't mean to repost. I can not tell you have many people test with API and get zero with everything. Please throw out those test kits and buy salifert ones or Hanna

They don't look good. Mine are in the bottom 1/3 of the tank. I feed them a mix of super fine food once a week with a turkey baster.
