Possible LPS pest?

So I see this thing hanging on to one of my acanthophelia. It’s coming from the sand and hanging on the meat part that usually touches the sand. I have black coarse sand. Any ideas?? It’s on the bottom left hand side of the picture

Hard to tell from the picture.
My thoughts would be the mesenterial filaments from the coral reaching out to something from the sand.

or a tube worm in the sand reaching to the coral.
