ID please

Anyone know what this is growing on my rocks? It?s hard and securely attached to the rock.

At first I was thinking red bubble algae but def not sure.

could be coralline algae. I know some types can grow out from a rock and usually grows into formations. can you chisel off a piece?

Thanks. That?s what I?m hoping it is. It?s definitely not a bubble like structure. And it doesn?t fully match bubble algae pics online.

The growth is flat shaped pieces rather than round.
When my nutrients had gone out of control I think the growth disappeared but now that my tank stabilized they?ve returned.

I was able to break off a piece. I?ll take another pic with more white light.
