Ok MR home slices.....

I'm ordering some starboard for my 90 gallon. What size do I order? I'm not at home to measure. I assumed I'd order

47.5 x 17.5

or should I go

47x17 so it's not on top of the silicone? I'd rather it be right up on the glass so I can silicone it in.

Challah!

i just got my starboard.........i basically did what your planning to do also fritz.....i also cut it to fit inside of the silicone so it wont be sitting on it.....so the starboard is smaller than the full size of the tank which is 36x18.....im guessing the starboard is about 35 1/2"x17 1/2"
i do have a table saw which i used to cut and measure 3 times to get it fitted nice..........but i'll say 47.5 x 17.5 is about right......i rather the starboard be a little biigger than smaller so u can trim it if needed.......
is there an internal overflow?......see if anyone here can lend u some tools just in case u need to trim or cut it to fit better.......
