Thanks, all the info was great. Problem is I have a tongue/slipper, and an open brain coral. Anybody have any ideas how to propagate either of these?

I want to learn to propagate my own corals. Anyone know of any good books that explain in detail how to do this?

It's actually fairly simple to propagate corals. You basically break, cut, snap, or remove through growth patterns a small chunk of your coral, attach it to something else or just jam it in a hole, and watch it grow. You need good lighting, good water, and that's about it. And to attach, you can use just about anything from super glue, to epoxy, to rubberbands, to toothpicks. This applies to hard and soft corals.
