Psycidelic Goby

I just picked up a psycidelic goby last week that I belive is quite unique. All the ones I have seen before this one where a light green with darker green spots. This one is pink with green spots. Antone ever seen this? Have I just missed it or did I luck out here?

Are you referring to a (Psychadellic) Mandarin Dragonet?

Or could it be a Catalina goby. if its a Catalian goby I think they need cooler water, like in the 70-60 range

Pardon the spelling yes I am refering to the
Psychadellic mandarin dragonet. Certainly not the catalina goby as that is neather pink or green, more of an orange.

i sure hope you have a large stablished tank with a very good live sand bed. these fish only eat live food that they find as they roam around the substrate. thats why these fish slowly starve to death is most tanks.

I do have the proper environment for it, and consider my self fairly experiance with these fish. I'll have had my first mandrin goby for two years this Oct. 15th. I have the new one in a 29(I know concidered small for this type of fish) With about 30lbs of rock and a 3 inch snad bed. The tank has been empty of fish for 6 months allowing the copod population to explode. There is also a large pop if flat worms, which she is eatting as well. I have gotten her to also eat frozen mytis shrimp.

I've seen both manderians like that from time to time. They are red/pink with spots or strips. But my lfs sell those for more.
