KH adjustments (B-ionic/Reef Builder)

I would like some comments on how you boost/maintain the KH in your tank. I currently use the B-ionic 2 part system and also add Reef Builder to try and boost my KH. The current KH reading is 8 (satisfactory) but I'm dosing every day. I also don't want to impact my pH too much by adding B-ionic every day (current pH = 8.6). Any and all comments appreciated.

I'm not sure why you're concerned about bIonic raising the pH. It is designed to be used daily. I actually dose twice daily, have dKH of about 12, Ca of 425, and pH of 8.4 (I half the dosage for each of the twice-daily doses.)

You don't mention what your Ca levels are. If that is low too, then just increase the amount of both parts of bIonic. If the Ca is 425-450, then add to the amount of bIonic Alk that you are adding daily, while still dosing the Ca. They should come into line over a couple of weeks or so.
