Glad you have a bigger home for him, however I don't think you'll have much success with the algae. They are just about the most omnivorous of all surgeonfish, needing algae but the main staple of their diet being zooplankton i.e. mysis shrimp etc. Also Caulerpa is rarely accepted as a regular diet - most fish will nibble, sometimes even make pigs of themselves on Caulerpa at first but because of the high alkaloids and sometimes even killer toxins like Caulerpicin most quickly come to the realization that continued grazing is not a good thing and ignore it.
From my experience it's rare to solve an algae issue with a fish - usually it requires some other grazer or combination of animals.
