I am getting ready to order some Rock between 50-100 lbs of Gulf-View rock and was wondering the best way to cure this stuff w/out loosing all the life on it.
I was thinking of getting 2 50gal rubbermaid tubs filling them w/ a sandbed, cycling them to get a good bio filter going and then add the rock in there hoping the spike in ammonia and nitrite would be minimul.
Also - How often should I do water changes ?
Any help would be appreciated.
