Anyone I know who has ever owned one has raved about them... I'm not sure how they work but they make normal chillers look bad.
Advantages over traditional chillers:
**Much lower power consumption. uses about half that of a conventional chiller
**Quiet. I can't even tell when the one at my LFS is running or not
**Works fine with lower flow rates. Don't need a mega pump to go with unit
**Built in heater.
Disadvantages over traditional chillers:
**More expensive. Unfortunately these units are more expensive than a normal chiller, but not unbelievable so considering the benefits above.
I probably sound like a salesman for them, but I'm not. I just know this is the chiller I intend to get if I ever need one.
I would probably consider the CA200 model for your tank.
