the best CHILLER?

My 1/4HP Aqualogic probe chiller has worked very well for my 50 gallon reef. The chiller is rather quite (compared to many on the market) and only runs a few minutes a day to keep said tank below 82.5 when the tank is heated by two 175 watt halides, four power compacts and the ambient temperature is about 78 deg F. Ohh yea a few pumps generating heat as well.

Anyone I know who has ever owned one has raved about them... I'm not sure how they work but they make normal chillers look bad.
Advantages over traditional chillers:
**Much lower power consumption. uses about half that of a conventional chiller
**Quiet. I can't even tell when the one at my LFS is running or not
**Works fine with lower flow rates. Don't need a mega pump to go with unit
**Built in heater.
Disadvantages over traditional chillers:
**More expensive. Unfortunately these units are more expensive than a normal chiller, but not unbelievable so considering the benefits above.
I probably sound like a salesman for them, but I'm not. I just know this is the chiller I intend to get if I ever need one.
I would probably consider the CA200 model for your tank.

I have had a Aquanetics and a CSL. The Aquanetics was older, I had it for 6 years or so when I sold it. It worked flawlessly the entire time. Same thing for my CSL which I have had for a year now. The CSL is quieter and runs less since it is properly sized. I would get one 1 size up from what you need in case you upgrade tanks in the near future.
I use a 1/4 hp aqualogic cyclone titanium coil chiller in my 120g reef. The chiller is very efficient. I use a 2% set point and it will drop the tank 2% in about 30 minutes. The in-line design is a better one (and would allow remote access (i.e., plumbing to a chiller in another room with silent at tank operationn), but my set up more easily accomodated a drop in coil into my sump and I've been very pleased. The chiller is "relatively" quiet (relative to other chillers - but don't get excited, it uses a compressor). Don't skimp on hp. good luck
