I semi-recently started dosing Reef Solution by Aquatic Ecosystems. This is an "all in one" additive. I do not add ANYTHING besides this stuff and a variety of fish foods. So far, I must say, it is performing rather well! I was just wondering how other people are dosing it. It says on bottle to use 1ml per 5gal water or 2 capfuls per 100gal's. I measured the cap and it is 5ml. This would only be a dose of 1ml per 10gal's Anyways....I emailed Aquatic EcoSystems and they said to just dose the two capfuls per 100gal's.

So....what dose are you using? Do you add any other suppliments or phytoplankton? How is the product performing in your opinion?

Thanks sooooooooo much!!!!!

I have been using this for several months and have been pleased. Additionally, I occaisionally add some iodine and strontium. I also use DTs about 2x per week. You might check with Sue Truett - I learned of Reefsolutions from her.

I have used Reef Solution since November of 98. I used it exclusively on my 120 sps tank. That is til I pulled the sump and replaced it with an ecosystem sump about 3 months ago. I think it is a great product for those that dose and don't want to have an under tank full of bottles. It is not a food additive for corals. So now all I add are kalk., buffer and my mix of Golden Pearls, Tahatian Blend and Phytoplex.

Sue,
It's NOT a food for corals?????? Well....I thouoght it was! Whats up with all the fine particles in it? I thouoght that was the coral "food". Hmmmmmmm....things seem to be going well thus far. That is why I switched to reef solution. So I could avoid higher priced phyto plankton!!!!

Very good info!
Thanks a lot!
