Well I ordered a Knop Model C reactor & a PH controller yesterday, I should have it next Tuesday. Now I need to know what else I need to get, to make my hookup quick & painless. I read that the reactor will require a circulation pump. Does anyone know what size? I know I will need to purchase a CO2 tank, What size should I buy? I am assuming I will need a regulator solinoid & neddle valve. What should I look for? Can anyone recomend a good place to buy the CO2 stuff. I am looking for a good price, but a good product is important to. This is all new to me. My tank is a 135 gallon, I have a wet dry underneath the tank and I assume that will be the best place to hook it up. An help would be appriciated.

Thanks

Ron

hi.
You may use your return pump, or even the overflow to feed your reactor, and don't have to get a feed pump just for the rxtor.

For your tank size, a 5 lb CO2 cylinder will last for about half a year. You will need a regulator and a good needle valve. The cylinder, you can get it locally from welding shop or brewing place. Same for the regulator, but you maybe able to get good deal on the Net. Needle valve, I got mine from Marine Depot. Small, but work well. Solenoid is optional. I run my rxtor 24/7.
