i think its called a finger feather worm

hey guys.... my brothers friend gave me this thing! i think its a finger feather worm. the out side lookes like a anemoneand the inside lookes like a feather duster. can anyone id this for me? id take a picture, but no camera. also is iut reef safe!

Hmmm... Not quite sure what you mean by that. Does it look like this?

If that is it, then it is a tube anemone, genus cerianthus, this one in particular is Pachycerianthus fimbriatus. They are reef safe, but are not fish safe, as they are fish predators.

sort of... the outside look like that... but the inside looks like a Hawaiian feather duster. i will try to get a pic of it to show you guys.

i will try to get a pic.... i do not think it will stay in my tank for too much longer,


actually... that is it.... and i also noticed some makrings on my tang like whip makrs

i think i have to find a new home for him
