To afford adequate quantities of Miracle Mud, I plan to build my own sump to support my 55 gallon soft coral, fish & dsb tank.

I also want to incorporate a refugium into the sump. Any suggestions?

Would it be better to have a seperate refugium? If so, should it have its own overflow from the main tank, and should it drain into the sump or be pumped directly back to the main tank?
