What do you feed your E. Quadricolor's? I usually feed cut up prawns, but feel that there must be a better food source. After all, a greater variety is better.

Mine takes silversides, krill and a chunk of thawed out Formula One, Prime Reef and Brine Shrimp Plus from Ocean Nutrition. It's pushing 3 years of age!!

I occasionally target feed mine krill. But mostly mine just eat what the tank gets - and like MedicineMan, that includes copius feedings of Formula 1, Formula 2, Prime Reef, and Brine Shrimp Plus, often soaked in Selcon. Meaty frozen fish foods seem to play a large role in ensuring proper nutrition (mine has produced over 30 clones in 6+ years).

A buddy of mine sells these guys out of his tank as they split. He's had A LOT of splits. He tells me he feeds them pieces of scallops, like once every few days. I have one from him that's split twice, but not nearly as fast as his split.

I have a rose anemone but don't feed it directly. The gold stripe maroons make sure it gets plenty of formula one and the growth has been amazing.. 50-60% in the past two months! Formula one seems to be working great for mine.

I'm afraid to feed them too much now. They eat like pigs, but a one-time split has given me two huge anemones. There is no market here to trade in clones, too many around. What does one do ?

Emily, have you ever consider to be the first to have a all anemone tank? All the possible bare surfaces covered with E. quad?
