Well I have decided the starphire glass was a bad idea. So I am either gonna get a 180g or a 240g tank. What do you all think would be worth getting? I think a 240g would be nice panormaic reef view in my house. But thats still one more light and more sand... I was wondering what you guys think, and hopefully some 240g owners could post comments on what they did when they got this size of a tank. I need to look at everything lighting, is this really a good size to go with?

My dimensions would be: 8'x2'x2' for the 240.

You'll be very happy with both.

Cost goes up a bit with the 240. (4)Halides, bigger chiller, skimmer. More Rock/sand. No 8ft VHO...But it would look awesome.

Then again, you were considering a 135, the 180 may be perfect.

BerlinMethod.com man that has to be a nice tank you have all starphire! I want starphire, but its really alot to spend... I am just wondernig if that extra money should be put towards a good skimmer.

Redneck Cowboy, your right there would be alot more costs involved. It would be just awesome to have that extra space. It really would be a challenge to get it filled up completely, but I would have something to look forward too. I have to agree with you that the 135g may be a bad idea.

naesco tangs are my favorite fish, that is a good reason why I want them to be stress free and happy!

Hope to see some big 240g tanks or even 180g ones...
