Hi all,
I have just recently upgraded my lighting in order to have some sps corals, so this is my first experience with them. I have noticed that there are tiny air bubbles on each of the porites, acropora and montipora. When I use my turkey baster to "swish away" the bubbles, they float to the top of the tank and then reappear on the corals within minutes. Is this a normal occurance? I have never heard anyone mention this . . . My first thought is that I need to increase my water circulation, but I already have the return from the sump and 2 maxijets. I am thinking of adding another maxi and using a Natual Wave strip. Would that help?
I won't bore you with my tank specifics if this is a normal thing, but if you need the parameters and specifics I will gladly post them. TIA,
Sea Serpent
