OK to run 2 canister for Fish Only tank?

Hi, I am setting up a 77gal. fish only tank. I oringinally have a Eheim2213 for my old 33gal, and I get a Magnum350 2nd hand with the 77gal tank. I want to for a sump, but its just too expensive for me now since u need a pump, overflow(my tank is not drilled), etc. I also have a Seaclone skimmer. I just want to see is it OK to run only the 2 canister and what material should I put in the canister, thanks a lot guys.

Yes, there's no reason why you can't run both. For fish only, I'd use a mixture of carbon and filter floss. Use only inert materials for mechanical filtration. If using mechical filstration like floss, make sure to keep up the maintainence of the canisters, preferably semi-monthly.
