Is this a tube worm?

I have 2 of em I was watching them dig in the top of the sand and them sucking up some particles. Pretty cool I shot video of it too.

It's tough to tell from the picture, but this looks more like a ringed or segmented worm.

If it stretches from and retracts back into a hole or a burrow, sort of like a slinky toy, I think it is what is commonly called a "peanut worm" -- not sure why the name is given, or what the scientific name is.

I have a number of black and grey segmented ones that came as hitchhikers in some old porites worm rock, and so far as I know they are beneficial, or at least harmless, scavengers.
