aquatic lighting 12000 k

I have had the 250w sunbursts twice. (in just over a year). They seem to go funny after six months, however, I have not had any bad bulbs.

Also, I recently ordered 10kk Ushios expecting blue light

..oops

And this is what I got..

I don't have room to incorporate huge amounts of actinic light, and I guess I will be doing 12kk Sunbursts until I can find something else.

i was going to order the 12000k 250 watt metal halide system from aquatic lighting systems. does anyone have any experience with this company? are these units a good deal?

mogul base? Is it the sunbursts?
I have heard nothing good of them and know a few people that have had them. One guy I just met has two bum ones in his cabinet.
From what I have read too, there are other choices with better light output.
