Have recently noticed 3rd batch of pin wheel shaped egg mass on back glass from LETTUCE NUDIBRANCH Elysia crispata. My question is how do you raise the young? How hard are the young to see? do they have a free swimming larval stage?

The parent Nudibranchs grew for a while in the tank but now seem to shrinking, is this normal after spawning. Are they picky in the type of green algae they will eat?

Thanks for any information you may have.

Thanks, Green Lantern, for the link to the Breeders Registry but all I could find was info on Berghia Verruciornis (the aptasia eating Nudibranch)which was interesting and possibly helpful but since they are a carnivore and the lettuce Nudibranch is an herbavor I'm not sure how much carries over.

The first egg mass came loose a few days ago, the second egg mass is developing and is presently hanging on the glass at just 2 points. I am assuming they will start hatching with in the next 24 to 36 hours. the 3rd egg mass is a few days behind the 2nd in delelopement. I'm tempted to try to remove the 2nd stand of eggs to try to grow out in a gallon jar. ANY IDEAS!!
