I recently switched from a 75 gallon with a "J" Tube sump feed to a 120 gallon predrilled corner overflow tank. *Whoo hoo*
My question is this: With my new setup I've noticed periodic air bubble discharges into the tank. With my 75 gallon this would only happen if my water level in my sump was lower than my pump intake, however now this is happening with a full sump. Is this normal for a predrilled tank?
I would think with all the efforts we go through to settle the water and air bubbles prior to returning the feed to the tank there might be something amiss.
Thanks for your help.
