So who's the culprit?

Hi, I just lost a lovely Gramma Loreto yesterday and I strongly believe it was murdered and eaten by either a worm or a mantis shrimp. The strange thing is in this 10g there are also 3 small cleaner shrimps and a blood shrimp. The shrimps were in the tank before the fish but only the fish was killed. It was fine the day I got him and was already feeding but I couldnt even locate the fella's body the next. I heard good things about worms so i left mine in there, it's about 5-6" and doesnt look much like a bristleworm,more like a centipede - its brown. I have since removed the LR that housed the mantis(or what i think is the mantis)which is about half an inch long and submerged the LR in tapwater hoping to flush out the creep. So why was the fish the only prey?And all the slower moving shrimps are left alone??
