Gorgeous Fish, Planning on getting one myself. I run a FOWLR tank so he'll be safe in mt tank, but I wouldn't do it if you want to keep corals now or later. Also Don't plan on having any other dwarf angels unless you have a really huge tank where they wouldn't run into one another. Make sure you have plenty of places for him to hide and swim. The Pygmy angels are a pain to catch as well so keep that in mindif you ever need to get him out. Check out last weeks post on catching a coral beauty and read some of the threads.....
Flame Angels are beautiful fish and I really like them.
I believe most reefers will tell you that most, if not all angelfish are not "reef safe".
That's not to say that some people haven't had luck keeping Flame Angels successfully in a reef tank without the Flame bothering/eating corals.
It seems to be a gamble either way.
Also, Pygmy Angels usually need fairly well established tanks to be healthy and happy.
Good pod population and stable water conditions are key for a healthy habitat for them.
They make wonderful additions to established FOWLR tanks.
Good luck,
Brian
