Every since I set up a calcium reator I now have bubbles forming on my substrate? I was told that they are nitrogen bubbles. My sand get very crusty so I keep it turned over.

My tank is a 180 reef tank with a sump and a ampmaster pumps and 2 gemini pumps for curculation.

Is there any way I get get rid of these bubbles on my sand? Any suggestions?

If they are something that you see on the surface of the sand, they are likely O2 bubles from algae growing on the sand. Keeping the sand clean with various organisms seems to prevent this in most tanks.

You won't see the bubbles of N2 that form deep within the sand unless you are poking into the sand, in which case they should just rise to the top and disappear.

These bubbles are on top of the sand and stay there until I stir them up then they rise to the top.
