I donot see your state but for most it is the state game and fish agency. Very understaffed and few invesigators. Any AZA acredited zoo would advise you of the local agency that can help. Ask for the Curator though, not the receptionist.

Someone posted that there was going to be an accrediting agency for fish stores soon, but don't remember what it was. It is a voluntary organization that the stores would join and then have to keep their standards up to remain in. I don't remember what it was, but if the person who posted it (Tom O'Toole, Inland Aquatics maybe?) could do so again, it would help to get it off the ground.
