Parasitic Algae

I seem to have some sort of Parasitic Algae growing in my tank. It sorta looks like a hair algae but is not. It is brown or almost colorless in color. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced a parasitic algae bloom. I am also looking to see if there are any pictures anywhere that I could reference to.

Any info is appreciated!

What do you mean by parasitic? It sounds like cyanobacteria to me.
