Hey guys.

My tank has a lot of bubbles coming from the bottom and the sand and some rocks and part of the sand are turning red. The red algae or slime or whatever it is, is what's creating the bubbles.
Is it too many nutrients, or too much food, or the plankton ?
How do I get rid of it.
My skimmer is working fine.
Be the end of the week I will install the UV Unit, the Calcium Ractor and my Neptune AquaJR.
I'm waiting at least a couple of months before I add fish (one every month).
I thank everyone that's always giving us, the guys that don't know too much, advise and solutions.

Alfredo

dont feed your tank since you have no fish .your coral will be fine unless you have coral that need feeding(sunpolpys and so on )

do not use red slime remover i lost over 25+ frags with that stuff.... instead of using a chemical to fix your problem for a couple of weeks and then it coming back go to the root of your problem and fix it permanently, find out what is the cause of the cyano and eliminate that ;)

i tryied raising the alk and it either worked or just went away on it's own...I don't know for sure but I think the alkalinity increase helped
