I'm a new arrival to this discussion forum or any for that matter, I was hoping to get some info on putting together a sump for my 75g reef that has about 70pds. of live rock, a berlin hang on skimmer, 2 powerheads one for a75g and another for a 30g ,aragonite sand, 1 hang on filter for a 40g-60g and 1 for a 75-100g. the lighting is at about 250watts,1-40w blue actinic marine glow,2-40w-powerglows and 1 bright light power compact.I will be putting about 45 more pds of live rock in as soon as it is done curring . my tank is about 3-4months old and now contains a brain coral and polyps plus other cleaners . my dilema is I dont understand completely about sumps, would someone give me a simple home made solution for a sump hook-up and the materials needed. kimmer
