Just would like to know, I know what it does to diatom algae with the combination of phosphates.
What does high silicates and high phosphates do to corals? I know what it does to algae!
Sorry- I do not know what they do to coral. However I also do not know what they do to algae. Could you please tell me. I have been considering what kind of sand to use and was told that I could add a percentage of "sandbox" sand. This sand will release high amounts of silicates, and I may avoid it if this will hurt my reef. Thanks.
