Adding fuel to the fire?

I know we all respect this hobby and captive breeders,coral farmers,and hobbyists are doing everything they can to minimize the impact on reefs around the world.I was just curious how people feel about their purchases knowing that 5-10 corals or fish die for every 1 that makes it?or however many it is?Are we not adding fuel to the fire?

The numbers are not actual it is just a rough estimate.Could be more or less?

Like Robert Fenner says - be a consciencious marine aqaurist. Buy only want you realistically can keep. Let your LFS know about problems. While it will take time, the information will get back to the middlemen.
