I am looking for some Flower Anemones for my tank but last night I was doing some more research on them. I found some info that claims these are cold water anemones. The one I almost purchased is snow white. I am somewhat confused now and want to make sure these animals will be ok in my tank. My tank is a constant 78 degrees......I may lower it to 76. Got any tips here? :?:

BB, there is also a good chance that the anemone (which isn't necessarily a "flower") you purchased is white because it isn't hosting any zooxanthellae. If this is the case, it is quite possibly doomed. It would help if you could post a photo which could help identify the species you purchased.

I would imagine that there are some flowers somewhere that are cold or temperate water anemones, but the ones sold for the hobby are usually the tropical varieties. At least every one that I've heard of and read about were kept in a tropical tank.
