Setup help

:?: I am going to setup my tank now. Its been a year of procrastinating. It will be a FOWLR tank. My question is how long after I put the water and salt in the tank do I wail to add the liverock? Thanks Jared

Depends if it is cured, pre-cured or not cured at all. I added mine, pre-cured, from the day one. Then later on I just added more - to spread money spending :roll: I didn't experience any problems and tank completely cycled in about 6 weeks.

I also placed mine in right away to get the cycle going. (It was cured rock).

I agree with Minime, don't wait. Use the rock to initiate a cycle and get the substrate active... now adding fish is another story....
