Will a six line wrass eat flat worms? LFS said they do but they also told me a mandarin would eat them too.But instead he ignored them for about two months and died. he picked at the rocks alot but he wasnt into the flat worms.Sooo... Six line Yes or No?

I've heard rumours of the six-line wrasse (Pseudocheilinus hexataenia) eating flat worms but I've never seen it. I wouldn't count on it as a cure. And if your tank is small, you might find the "cure" worse than the original problem. These are feisty fish in small aquariums.

If you siphon out everyflatworm you see and keep up with it every week, you'll eventually get ahead of them.

i agree with GSchiemer: i have only seen one 6-line do it....kind of luck of the draw, some do but others don't...it's the chance you take

I have a pair of six-lines and a leopard wrasse in my 225. None of them make a dent in the flatworms, if they eat any at all. To busy eating everything else I feed.

The odds on getting a six-line that eat flatworms are about as good as the odds on getting a yellow tang that loves hair algae. It does happen, but not all that often IMO.
