PH Probes...

Is there any damage done to PH and ORP probes if they arnt stored in their solution and let to dry out? Or does it just take a while for them to bounce back when reintroduced to salt water again?

I believe when a ph probe dries out it is shot. They are shipped with a rubber tip with solution in it. The directions say to keep it in solution if you plan on removing it from the water. HTH

The longer it's dry, the worse it gets. I personally wouldn't leave one out of your tank or the storage solution for more than 10 minutes.

Don't know about the ORP, but for the pH it's done. Once it dries out, it won't hold a calibration worth a crap and should be replaced. Sorry.
