I bought a long tentacled on Friday. He looked healthy and dug in and buried his foot through the 6" DSB. I offered him a small piece of silverside on Sat. and a krill today...both which he didn't even try to take, he just let it kinda float away??? His mouth is also open?? here's a pic of him, is this normal? should I be worrying?
thanks

assuming all of your parameters are perfect....

give the anemone some time to acclimate to the tank first, before bothering it with food

wait a week

check all your parameters-your sg should be closer to the higher end of the spectrum, i.e.-1.025-1.027

anemones really need perfect parameters

it's normal for the mouth to open up abit at times-it's 'gaping' that isn't a good sign
