helios compact flourescents

any body have any experiance with these lights?
nice looking light fixture with 255 watts
for a good price. i heard somewhere that they are hard
to get parts for, and that concerns me since ive seen them
as low as $210.00 with bulbs. (i figured to expect to replace
something within 2 years for that price)
any thoughts before i blow my cash would be greatly appreciated!!

I've heard several people say that the ballasts fail on them regularly and that it is difficult to get replacements.

I run those lights on my system. I've had them for 2 years now with no problems with ballasts. Except when i had a power failure and one went. The LFS ordered me another one with no problem. Also ordered me lights too with no problems. I like them.....

I don't think you'll find them there anymore. I was looking into them for someone else. I emailed HelloLights to ask why they didn't have them on the site anymore. Apparently, they decided not to offer them at this time because of ballast issues.

I've had one running over my refugium for about 4 months with no problems.
