i got a bottle of DT's phytoplankton from LFS this weekend, and it rrecomended 1 oz for every 100 gal, and i have a 125 gal, so i added about 1/3 of the 4 oz bottle , and it said do this daily, well at $8 a bottle it would be about $2 a day which seems expensive to me, on top of the brine shrimp and other stuff i feed. so my question is, is it worth it? i would liek any comments you have about this

I use DT's but only use half the recommeded dosage. I use it for my clams, sps corals and anything that can benefit from it. I make a mix of DT's, Tahatian blend, Golden Pearls and fix enough for the week. Freeze it and then feed as needed. I would maybe cut to half the doasge and use it every 3-4 days.

I think she meant refrigerate it. But however, I am curious why mixing DT's with Tahetian blend? I believe the Tahetian blend already contain at least 30% nanochloropsis (sp??). Is there any reason that you have to boost nano's concentration by mixing in DT's?

I've switched from DT's to Tahetian blend due to economical reason. So far, I am not noticing any differences yet.
