Once again I turn to the pro's. I just had the cabinet installed and I don't know what to about the side panels that cover the side of the tank. The cabinet is ten feet long by seven feet tall and you can only see the front of the tank. When I slid in the tank, I noticed when I look in the tank, I can see the wood on the sides

Ok, my question, should I paint the sides black to match my black background or leave it wood grain? ll of my tanks in the past where not covered on the sides.

I will have pictures of the craziest tank I have ever built.

Thanks,
Dave

I would paint it the color of the background. It's not only a tank, but also a piece of furniture. The fine details count.

you should not paint the back or sides black, it will show every little particle floating around in your tank? go with traditional blue.

Dave,

Unless the side panels are actually touching the glass, they should disappear once you add water to the tank. All you should see in the side panels is a reflection of the inside of the tank.
