I was just curious as to if I had any fellow reefers around since I live in a small town and pretty much know the locals. Btw, I live in Camden, NC , anyone close?

Not too terribly close, but I live in Raleigh. I have started up a state-wide trading group called NCFRAG @ www.coralfrag.org (webpage is still just being put in). We have about 65 members across the state and even some in TN, SC, VA. We meet 3-4 times per year (this weekend was a Charlotte meeting) to talk, complain, and trade corals.

If you want to join the list, send off an email to [email protected] or sign up at groups.yahoo.com (ncfrag is the name).

Also, Raleigh area has a group that gets together every few weeks....

Wade, I sent an e-mail to NCFRAG. Thanks for the info.

USMC81, judging from the responses on another board it sounds like you have an excellent aquarium store there; Aquarium Shop on Farmington Dr. I really want to visit that place some time. I just got back from their web site and let me tell ya it looks very nice.

Great! You should have recieved a response from the listserv.

I expect the next meeting will be in Raleigh area sometime this winter! If you have questions or want to meet others in the area, once you are joined up, feel free to send emails thru the group.

Thats because it IS nice, Glenn! USM and Reef150 - I'm not too far from ya'll. I live in Stoneville - about half hour away from G'boro and about an hour and 20 mins. from Mebane (hubby works in Burlington). Glenn, I just went back to Aquarium Shop Saturday night and got 3 peppermints, some caulerpa, a sand sifting star and a condy anenome. Like everything else I have bought from those guys they are doing fantastic! The guys there are more than helpful and will lose money in a heartbeat if they know a certain critter won't survive in your tank. I just can't believe you haven't gone yet! BTW - the prices there are absolutely unbeatable! Tell him (Gionne) that Stacie and Ray Whicker sent you and he just may give you a discount! Alot of the stuff we have bought from there he sells to us at a price lower than what is marked - he is just that nice of a guy!!
