Last time I was at one of the LFS the owner was telling me about this new stuff just released that gets rid of flat worms. He made a big deal out of it because I used to tease him I couldn't buy any more corals from him because of his flat worm problem. I don't remember who made it but it was a big name... errraah maybe Salifert maybe Seachem I'm not sure but can find out tomorrow.

I am very interested in a product that can get rid of flatworms. If anybody can get some please tell me who, and how I can get some.

I put a Mandarin in my tank when I had lots of flatworms. she ate the lot. Then a few months later she died. I think she ate them all then had nothing to eat! If you know how to feed them when the Flatworm's have gone, then maybe this fish is the answer?

I stopped by a LFS today and confirmed it's Salifert "Flatworm Exit". Sells for about $18 and comes in a drip container with enough to dose a 300g tank (one drop per gallon). I read the directions and here’s the drawback. Flat worms are toxic when they die so you must first siphon as much out as many as you can.

I had luck siphoning as many as possible.

Then I added a 6-line wrasse. Besides being a great all around addition to a tank, mine have always LOVED eating flatworms.

I've even seen my 4 year old madaring goby eating them most of the time. It has been years since I've had a breakout though. My mandarin is the tye-dyed one, not the bullseye one, that might be important?

Rover,

When you do the greenex, do you do water changes or just run carbon and skim like a madman?
